Blueberry Cake With an Exotic Twist

When something does not taste great, you make it taste of home, and it will. So was the blueberry cake I made a few weeks back, blueberries and all- no, "something is missing", said my husband. I tried it again (I usually give it a second try before giving up), but this time I added some cardamom and a pinch of cinnamon- and it did the trick- nothing overwhelming, yet enough to enjoy the rather bland berries in it!
