A South Indian Feast

An Iyengar samayal, with some of hubby's family specialties.
The flavorful, lip smacking sweet and tangy vatral kuzhambu (down, middle), a gravy made with dried vegetables (here, turkey berries, dried mango) is a real winner!
Plain rice, spicy fried potatoes, tomato tamarind rasam, vatral kuzhambu, tomato rice, curd, baby mango pikcle, sweet poli.
