Idlis and Chutneys


Traditionally served for breakfast, these fermented  and steamed rice and lentil cakelets are not only healthy, but also light and delicious. Served with a variety of chutneys, or sambar (lentil stew).
Here I have some coconut cilantro chutney, and spice powder mixed with sesame oil.

Potato Strudel



Strudel with an Indian flair: sliced potatoes (raw), seasoned with garam masala, tad of cayenne and turmeric, salt, sesame oil. Crisp and flavorful. Yeast dough, well oiled and stretched.
Baked for about 45 minutes.
